PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) in Jakarta launched a new compact SUV called the Daihatsu Terios, which is the second collaboration between Daihatsu and Toyota Terios Indonesia.Daihatsu which has a capacity of 7 passengers was designed to be the best vehicles in the medium SUV class with a sales target of about 1000 units per month.
Following the success Xenia and Avanza, Daihatsu and Toyota again collaborated with introducing 2 new models of Daihatsu Terios and Toyota Rush Daihatsu in which full responsibility in the development and production. Terios concept itself is "Stylish and Adventure" which is a compact SUV with exterior and interior design is stylish and modern but still provide the strength and freedom of driving an SUV.
Daihatsu Terios cars sold in Indonesia denag design based on models existing in Japan under the name Daihatsu Be-Go, which was launched in January 2006 and has been exported to many countries in Asia, Oceania, Europe, Middle East, and South America. Daihatsu Terios is sold in Indonesia bore the same machine with the type of Toyota Rush 3SZ-VE DOHC VVT-i 1500 cc capacity.
The main differences with Indonesia Terios model of Be-Go is located in Japan lies in the body design is 14 inches longer and has a capacity of 7 passengers. The name "Terios" itself means "to make dreams come true" or "make dreams come true".
